Vivian Louise Woods

Mrs.  Vivian Louise Woods, 62, of 709 Alexander Street, Kings Mountain passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at  CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born January 7, 1957 in Cleveland County, North Carolina to the late I.C. and Thelma Roberson.

She graduated from Bessemer City High School and  later attended Cleveland Community College.  She worked at Wal-mart for 10 years.  She lived in Statesville, Cherryville, Bessemer City and Kings Mountain.

She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she was a minister of music, played the piano and was a choir director during her 20 years at Fairview.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Regina Moten.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years Darrell Woods, two sons Breen Roberson (Jovana) and Bobby Dean Roberson; one daughter Jennifer Elizabeth Watkins;  seven grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; one brother Gary Moten; two sisters Margaret Sheppard and Cyn Moten; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
