. Mrs. Beulah Mae Sheppard Davis was born May 7, 1948 in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Bessie Goode Sheppard and Robert L. Sheppard. She departed this life on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her resident in Gastonia, North Carolina. She was a lifelong member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a member of the senior ladies Sunday school class, the adult choir and the fellowship hall staff She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a beautiful sister, aunt, and a great friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sammie L. Davis Sr.; a son Sammie L. Davis Jr.; a grandson Mario D Davis; and two brothers Jerry Sheppard and Howard Sheppard.
She leaves to cherish precious memories a son Tineo A. Davis (Roxanne) of Gastonia, NC; two daughters Sarah L. Redmon(Ron) and Gwendolyn E. Hart(Darrin) both of Gastonia, NC; one brother Robert Sheppard(Eileen) of Lincolnton, NC; three sisters Pauline Thompson, Rosa Sheppard and Elizabeth Smith all of Gastonia, NC; sixteen grand-children and nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
