Shirley Pearl Lenox

Shirley Lenox, 72, of 139 Nolan Road, Lawndale, NC went to eternal rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at her home.  She was born November 6, 1946 in Shelby, NC to the late Matthew and Laura Dillingham.

Shirley worked at Frank Hosiery Mill in Hickory, NC for 30 years and Carillon Assisted Living for 14 plus years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Zora Powell; four brothers Otis Price, Dan Dillingham, David Dillingham and Josephus Johnson; a grand-daughter Latoya Nicole Tate.

She leaves to cherish fond memories of her is husband Norvel (Ted) Lenox, three daughters Denise Grier (Michael) of Hickory, NC; Pamela Renea Toms of Portsmouth, VA; and Monica Roseboro (Rodney) of Lincolnton, NC; a sister Martha Coats of Lawndale, NC; five grandchildren Alecia Toms, Jenika Dawson (Josh), Teaerra Grier, Jasmine Grier and Paradise Wells; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
