Charles Sheppard Jr., 74, of 1401 W. Weldon Street, Gastonia, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, Gastonia. Public viewing wlll be from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the church prior to the service. The family will be meeting at the home of his sister Angela Surratt, 1001 Preston Drive, Lowell.
